WILLIAM "DJ CHEF" BROWN |
My love for music came at a very young age, by listening to R&B played by my parents. Artists like The Coasters and the Platters, you know the 50's era. Then came the 60's, when Motown broke out with the Temptations, Marvin Gaye, The Four Tops, The Supremes, and the unforgettable William "Smokey" Robinson. |
In the late 60's I was introduced to a sound they called "Jazz", by a high school classmate of mine. When I was able to purchase my first jazz album, I purchased a John Coltrane album. which was quickly followed by the great Miles Davis, Charlie Parker, Ms. Billy Holiday and Dexter Gordon. |
On Air Schedule |
During college, my passion for Jazz and love for music was so intense that a classmate who was a DJ at the time, invited me to sit in on his air time, and this is where I got the "bug" to DJ. Years later, here I am "DJ Chef Brown" on Glance Radio playing vintage Jazz and Old School R&B at "Browns Cafe". |

DAVID "SCOTTYTEE" TALBERT |
| |
David “Scottytee” Talbert’s love for music started in the late 60’s, while listening to groups such as, Temptations, Four Tops and Supremes. And into the early 70’s with groups like, Sylistics, Blue Magic, Chi-lites and the Dramatics. In Scottytee’s opinion, these were true poets. |
| |
Scottytee is greatly recognized for his mesmerizing, bass voice, which developed at the age of 13. He is originally from Springfield, Massachusetts, but has made his home here in Atlanta since 1997. Scottytee has one son and two grandsons. |
| |
Scottytee’s passion is music, particularly old school r&b and old school rap. After graduating from the Atlanta Broadcasting Institute, he did his internship on Atlanta’s Big Station, V103; there he served as Board Operator, Production Assistant (voice talent for commercials) and on-air announcing on the the “Quiet Storm” with Joyce Lattel. He is now the newest contributor to Glance Radio. So whether you want to hear that smooth bass voice coming over the air, or sit back and listen to the soul sounds, this is where it’s at. |
